Bismarck – Henning is a rural area school located in Bismarck, Illinois which is about 7 miles north of Danville, Illinois, 131 miles south of Chicago, 35 miles east of Champaign – Urbana, and 99 miles west of Indianapolis.
BHJH is a great place to work with an awesome staff, students, and administration! The Junior High features 2 full size gyms for physical education class and a cardio/weight room attached to one. The Junior High services about 250 students 5th – 8th grade. Class sizes for 5th and 6th grade girls are about 28 girls per class and 7th/8th girls have grade level combined classes with about 21 girls per class. Units are taught both coed with a boys PE teacher and gender separated. On a side note we have had very strong athletic programs in the past and present.

The Charleston Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for Afterschool Club Staff. Under the direction and supervision of the Recreation Supervisor, the afterschool club staff will assist in planning and organizing a comprehensive program equipped for children after school.
General Purpose: Responsible for the organization, implementation, and supervision of after school activities.
Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma. Must be at least 18 years of age with one year of college preferred and one year youth related leadership. CPR & First Aid certification is preferred.
Hours: Training will begin the week of August 10th. Hours are from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Qualified applicants can work between 10-15 hours a week depending on availability.
Physical demands: Exposure to all types of weather conditions. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. A list of other requirements such as duties, and responsibilities will be handed out at the interview or upon request.
